They had walked with Jesus for three years, learning at His feet, watching His miracles, and devoting their lives to Him. They arrive at the Last Supper expecting it to be like the other Passover meals they have shared with Jesus. Then He says, "One of you is going to betray Me." What? How would you have reacted if you had been one of them? At the end of the meal, they go outside where, John tells us, "It was dark." An interesting comment, don't you think?

Greg McCollam is an ordained American Baptist minister and the former pastor of Walnut Hills Baptist Church in Cincinnati. A West Virginia native, and a graduate of the University of Charleston (WV), he has been a guest preacher at many churches and has led Bible studies and chapel services at meetings, nursing homes and even a racetrack. He also worked in the marketing departments of both the Indiana Pacers and Cincinnati Reds. He and his wife, Jan, are the parents of three children (Erin, Kelly and Jordan) and the grandparents of two (Reese and Brayden).
