Jesus' Trial Before Pilate 2.0 D

When Pilate finally pronounced judgment upon Jesus, he turned and washed his hands in an expression of innocence of "this man's blood." In doing so, he was repeating the religious ritual of "hand washing" which was part of the Jewish seder observed during Passover. Does this mean that Pilate was ultimately innocent of the condemnation of Jesus, or was he truly guilty of Jesus' crucifixion?

A West Virginia native, and a graduate of the University of Charleston (WV), he has been a guest preacher at many churches and has led Bible studies and chapel services at meetings, nursing homes and even a racetrack. He also worked in the marketing departments of both the Indiana Pacers and Cincinnati Reds. He and his wife, Jan, are the parents of three children (Erin, Kelly and Jordan) and the grandparents of two (Reese and Brayden).
