When Jesus proclaimed to His followers, "I AM the Good Shepherd," He also said, "I lay down My life." What did He mean as we look back at the cross in this day and age? Jesus talked, too, about how God "knows" Him. What was that all about? And how do WE know Jesus as the Good Shepherd?

Greg McCollam is an ordained American Baptist minister and the former pastor of Walnut Hills Baptist Church in Cincinnati. A West Virginia native, and a graduate of the University of Charleston (WV), he has been a guest preacher at many churches and has led Bible studies and chapel services at meetings, nursing homes and even a racetrack. He also worked in the marketing departments of both the Indiana Pacers and Cincinnati Reds. He and his wife, Jan, are the parents of three children (Erin, Kelly and Jordan) and the grandparents of two (Reese and Brayden).
